Clothespin Bag

My wonderful boyfriend, Curtis, hung a clothesline for me the other day.  The poles have been there since I moved into the house but the back one was hidden by over grown shrubs and there were never any wires strung between the poles.  The other day he cleaned up the back yard, cut down all of the shrubs, and hung the wires.  I was stoked.  I've wanted a functional clothesline since I moved in.  I usually use one of those collapsable wooden racks but it's just not big enough since we hang probably 50% of our laundry.  I wanted to make a clothespin bag for my new clothesline, so I got on pinterest and searched for a cute pattern.  I found this tutorial.  I made the bag today and it turned out great!  I wish I could make more but I just don't have the need for more than one clothespin bag. =/

  1. Hi! I just found your blog--so fun to read so far. I have a Basset Hound too--her name is Maple and if yours smells as much as mine, you must be in for a treat, lol. Anywho, I just thought I'd say hi and say how great it is to find another novice quilter obsessed with the art who's younger and childless--makes for a nice change. I look forward to seeing more of your creations. Cute bag, BTW.

    1. Hi Briana! Thanks so much for following the blog! I was so excited to see that I got a new follower yesterday. Before you, I only had two (one being my Mother haha). I don't know the other girl, she hasn't said anything (if you are reading, HELLO!)

My basset hound, Oliver, is smelly sometimes but his breath is the absolute WORST! Oliver is my first basset hound, and I don't think I'll ever get another breed. He is so funny. I love that dog like crazy.

How did you find this blog? Do you have a blog? Are you working on anything right now? I'm so glad that you stopped by and said "hi". It's nice to hear from someone who has seen the blog. Thanks for the good feedback!
